1. Information we collect

Sociaposts does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the tool. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used solely for security and performance monitoring and is not shared with third parties.

2. Photos and images

Any photos you upload are processed entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded to our servers and are not stored, transmitted, or accessed by Sociaposts.

3. Video processing (Curate Reel)

The Curate Reel feature assembles short video reels server-side using stock footage fetched from the Pexels API. Only the topic keyword you select is sent to our server to fetch matching clips — no personal data is included. Temporary video files are processed in memory and deleted immediately after the reel is returned to your browser. We do not store any generated videos.

3. Generated content

Captions and hashtags are generated server-side based on the topic you select. The topic keyword you submit is sent to our API to retrieve relevant content. We do not store or log submitted topics beyond what is necessary to process your request.

4. Local storage

Sociaposts stores your recent post history in your browser's localStorage— a built-in browser feature that keeps data only on your own device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can clear it at any time using the “Clear all” button in the Recent Posts panel, or by clearing your browser's site data in your browser settings.

5. Cookies

Sociaposts does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use any advertising cookies.

6. Third-party services

Sociaposts uses the following third-party services to deliver content:

Pexels (pexels.com): provides stock photos and videos. When you generate a post, your topic keyword is sent to the Pexels API to fetch a relevant image or video. No personal information is included in these requests.
GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com): provides the curated quote library. Requests contain only the topic keyword, not any personal information.

7. Children's privacy

Sociaposts is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
